From October 21st– October 31st, St. Joseph will be supporting the #WEscareHunger Campaign to raise awareness and support our Local Food Banks.

Our WE Team here at St. Joseph will be encouraging classes to bring in items that they are most in need of are:

  • Pasta (canned or dry) and pasta sauce
  • Kraft Dinner
  • Canned meats and fish
  • Canned or instant soup
  • Canned stew/chili
  • Canned fruit
  • Instant oatmeal
  • Fruit juice boxes
  • Cheese Whiz

We ask that no peanut products come to school as part of our food drive. Even the residue on a jar of peanut butter can set off a severe allergic reaction.  Thank you so much for your help in making our #WEscareHunger Campaign a success!

For the Halloween Dance on October 31st this year, students are asked to bring in a minimum of one food item from the list above. The class that collects the most items over the 10 Day Campaign will win a PIZZA PARTY!!!

Popcorn, water and glow sticks will be sold as well for $1 each. Proceeds support our Nutrition for Learning Program here at St. Joseph.
