Halloween Candy Drive

After your children have had a chance to sort their Halloween candy, have them consider sharing some of their candy with children in a Third World Country!

Did you know…

Starving children, when offered food, often are unable to eat?

Giving them a candy can help stimulate their taste buds, and encourages them to try to eat food again.

Candy can also distract them when they are given life saving inoculations in their limbs that, due to starvation, have little muscle mass.

As Canadians, we are trying to cut back on or watch how much sugar our children eat.

In a Developing Country, a candy can save the life of a starving child.

Halloween Candy Drive during the week of November 1 to 8.

Donated candy will be taken to Canadian Food For Children for distribution
